55 properties to be sold in Allsop’s third online auction

The third Allsop Online Auction will take place on Thursday 1st October with bidding opening at 8am.  There are over 55 properties with a total reserve of €5.45M available to purchase online. Full property details can be viewed now on MyHome.ie.

This auction follows the success of our online auctions in March and May with 103 properties sold and a combined sales value of €13.5 million. Allsop noted a 70% increase in bidders at the May auction and there was strong engagement by buyers, with many contacting the company directly to say how much they enjoyed the process. On 1st October, bidding will open at 8am with the first lot closing at 10am and the rest of the lots following thereafter.

The auction features a largely residential offering but there are also a number of commercial properties going under the virtual hammer. The residential properties are a broad mix of tenanted and vacant properties, ranging from 1 bedroom apartments to 3, 4 and 5 bedroom family homes across the country. Dublin properties make up over 25% of the catalogue and there is an exciting range of opportunities for investors and owner-occupiers in the capital.

Ellen Prenderville, Head of Online Auctions, Allsop commented: “Our first two online auctions proved there was a strong demand for vacant and investment properties from both local and international investors.”

Some highlights from the auction include a second floor two bedroom apartment in Charlotte Quay, Dublin 4; a semi-detached three bedroom house in Castaheany, Dublin 15; a ground floor one bedroom apartment in Malahide; and an attractive three bedroom detached house in Schull with views overlooking Schull Harbour.

Robert Hoban, Commercial Director, Allsop commented: “The rapid growth of online property sales in Ireland looks set to continue as we launch our third innovative online auction to a receptive audience of over 60,000 buyers. The revolutionary new way to trade property makes it easy to buy a property from anywhere in the world with the comfort of full bidding transparency and signed contracts for sale. We are excited to present a catalogue of high quality investments in popular locations nationwide.”
